Someone from
the Trinity Wilderness Retreat will show you the way to
find the retreat. However if you have some people
who will show up late or if you are wanting to check out
the location on your own we have tried to provide some
directions over the river and through the woods as best
we can.
Be sure to check the
virtual map for
more detailed visual instructions. |

FROM
THE SOUTH
From BB take 259 North approx. 8.4 miles north
of BB. There will be a TWR sign on the left hand side of
the road just before you get to the 2nd 259-A exit on
the right. If you have reached the 2nd 259-A exit on the
right, you have gone too far.
FROM THE NORTH
Approx. 30 miles south of the McCurtain/Leflore
county line; after passing the Carson Creek Road
entrance to Broken Bow lake, go approx. 1.5 miles
further. Exit right at the TWR sign. After you turn off
the highway, turn right at the smaller TWR sign.
After you turn off take 1st left, cross the cattle guard
and take the 2nd left at the top of the hill.
There is a sign on the left hand side of the road at
this point. Follow this road until you cross under the
highline, there will be a sign posted in front of you at
that point and you turn right. Do not take the
trail under the highline, follow the main road which
bears to the left. You will come to a yellow gate
and that is the Trinity Wilderness Retreat.
Proceed through that gate through the woods
approximately 1 mile to the cabin. |
